“If you listen from your heart, that’s the only place to start, if you want to Hear My Hands.”
These are the powerful lyrics from our first project, Hear My Hands. This music video with a message was produced to help bridge the gap between the deaf and hearing worlds. And this is the video that started it all! Out of the completion of Hear My Hands the music video, Hear My Hands the non profit organization was born.

Filmed at MGM Studios and at The Magic Kingdom in 1994, Hear My Hands chronicles the story of a young deaf girl through four stages of her life. She is shown achieving her dreams with the video focusing on her ability, not her disability. The video closes showing a series of real life deaf role models shown succeeding in her chosen fields, including Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God) and Shelley Beattie (American Gladiators).

The video aired on The Disney Channel and The Learning Channel for several years in the late 1990′s. The music video continues to receive rave reviews from both the deaf and hearing communities.

With few exceptions, the materials, services and equipment needed to produce this video were donated by over 40 companies. Hear My Hands was one of the first music videos to promote American Sign Language and Deaf awareness.

With an all Deaf Cast, the Hear My Hands music video shows the story of a young Deaf girl growing up and achieving her dreams. The video has aired on The Disney Channel, The Learning Channel, and continues to delight Deaf and hearing audiences.
